Betsy Udink

Biography

Betsy Udink is a journalist who has spent thirty years living in Islamic countries. In her 1990 debut, Beyond Mecca, she describes her experiences in fundamentalist Saudi Arabia. In 1996 the novel Caro Darmont’s Scoop appeared, followed in 2001 by Minor Misery, stories about depression and insomnia.
