Toon Tellegen author and poet, is one of the Netherlands' most celebrated writers. His animal stories have been translated into 19 languages and are loved by children and parents the world over. He lives in Amsterdam, and loves reading, telling stories and huge, sweet cakes.

New Dutch Writing

GO*DUTCH!, a major new campaign to raise awareness of Dutch literature in translation has been launched with the backing of a number of UK publishers and Arts Council England. We will be working with literature festivals and arts venues to organise readings and discussion events, including festivals in Liverpool, Manchester, Durham, Ilkley, Birmingham and Essex.
