Arnon Grunberg nominee for the IMPAC Award

Phantom Pain by Arnon Grunberg (Fantoompijn, 2000, translated by Sam Garrett), is one of the 10 books that made it to the shortlist of the 2005 IMPAC International Dublin Literary Award. This major international literary award - worth a sum of € 100,000 - honours an English-language novel that has been published in the past year or an other-language novel that has been translated into English in the past year, having been published in its original language no more than 5 years ago. The winner will be announced on 15 June 2005.
