Literary Foundation translation awards
The Foundation for Literature announced its translation awards. The prizes are conferred upon Ike Cialone, a translator of Italian literature, and Harrie Lemmens, a translator of Portuguese prose. They receive their awards as a consequence of their special service to the quality and diversity of literature in Dutch translation. The translators have distinguished themselves by their initiative and creativity within their language area. The awards are each worth 5,000 Euro.
