New volume in the Deltareeks

On 20 May, a new volume in the Deltareeks (series of Dutch literary classics) with two plays by P.C. Hooft appeared: Geeraerdt van Velsen and Baeto. In both tragedies, the male protagonists are faced with political-moral choices that have great consequences for their country. The edition of this volume was in the hands of Henk Duits. After the Warenar, this is the second volume of Hooft in the Deltareeks.

At the beginning of May, the board of trustees of the series announced which volumes will appear in the next few years. An overview of these titles can be found on the Deltareeks website.
