Poetry Day Prizes for Oosterhoff, Polet and Verhelst

The jury of the Poetry Day Prizes 2009 declared the following poems the best poems of the previous year: ‘Waarom is neuken een pompbeweging, spuitgasten?’ (Why is fucking a pumping action, firemen?) from Ware Grootte (True Size) by Tonnus Oosterhoff, ‘Verdedigingsgrijs’ (Defensive Grey) from Binnenstebuitenwereld (Inside-out World) by Sybren Polet and ‘Vaas’ (Vase) from Nieuwe sterrenbeelden (New Signs of the Zodiac) by Peter Verhelst.
