Every year, the NLVPF supports and organizes more than a hundred foreign lectures, visiting lectureships and promotional trips for Dutch authors. We now wish to share the often-enthusiastic and fascinating reports that we receive on the topic of these excursions abroad.

Two authors were asked to elaborate further on the reports they formulated. Aafke Steenhuis talks about the lectures she held in Mexico last May. And last spring, Rashid Novaire was the writer-in-residence in Paramaribo, Surinam, and describes the course in creative writing that he gave to students of the teacher-training programme there and to prisoners in the Santo Boma jail.
