NLPVF partner of Lyrikline

Since the beginning of February, the Nederlands Literair Productie- en Vertalingenfonds, NLPVF (Foundation for the Production and Translation of Dutch Literature) has been an official partner of the Berlin international poetry website Lyrikline, which is a component of LiteraturWERKstatt Berlin.

At 17.00 this Thursday, 17 March, Lyrikline and the NLPVF will add lustre to their partnership during a presentation of the website at the Buchmesse in Leipzig. In the programme ‘Kleine Sprachen – große Literaturen’, Tsead Bruinja and Sigitas Paulski (Lithuania) will read from their own work, and Thomas Möhlmann will participate in a discussion with his German and Lithuanian colleagues from Lyrikline.

Besides descriptions, poems and translations of poets from more than twenty different language areas, Lyrikline also presents recordings of recitations in their mother tongue. As of today, the poetry of Tsead Bruinja has been adopted into the company of Dutch poets such as Cees Nooteboom, Anna Enquist, Tomas Lieske, Mustafa Stitou, Jaap Blonk, and Serge van Duijnhoven.
