Van der Hoogt Prize 2007 for Thomas Möhlmann
The Lucy B. and C.W. van der Hoogt Prize 2007 has been awarded to Thomas Möhlmann for his debut De vloeibare jongen (Liquid Boy) published by Prometheus, 2005.
The jury report characterizes the poet as a synaesthetic artist: he belongs to the group of artists who ‘often create works that are dreamy, who evoke a world of shadows, demons and plasmas who dwell in a parallel universe, who have their own freedom to mix with the world as we know it and exert their influence on it and on us.’ Read the jury report here
