By Heart / Uit het Hoofd

By Heart / Uit het Hoofd is a translation exchange project between some of the sharpest young poets from the Netherlands and the UK – an examination of the pleasures, difficulties and unexpected surprises that translation throws up. Jan-Willem Anker, Maria Barnas, Mustafa Stitou and their English counterparts Sarah Corbett, Antony Dunn and Daljit Nagra will perform the new poems live for the first time. Fiona Sampson, Editor of Poetry Review, chairs the discussion. The event takes place at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Wednesday 25 October.
